Weddings in the Benefice

We have four churches in delightful locations in which we conduct marriages.

We welcome all those who can claim eligibility to married in them, including divorced people.

 

To be eligible to be married in one of them, couples need to be able to fulfil one of the following criteria :

 

 

At least one partner should be resident in the area covered by the Benefice i.e. within the four parishes.

At least one partner has a prior connection or family connection with the church.

Be on the church Electoral Roll.

This requires attendance at the church over a minimum period of 6 months.

 

If you cannot fulfil these criteria, it is still possible to get married in one of the churches.
