Take the A 595 from Whitehaven. Continue beyond Muncaster and down the hill to cross a low-lying section of road over the river. The road then climbs up to the right, passing the turning to Corney. Shortly after, there is a turn on the Right to Hall Waberthwaite and to  Waberthwaite Church.
