Take the A 595 from Whitehaven. Turn off at Gosforth and go up the valley to Eskdale Green. Pass through the village and at the George 1V Public house turn left towards Boot which is another three miles further on. After passing Dalegarth Station you will see the Brook house Inn on your left. Take the turn immediately opposite that take you down a narrow lonning to the river and the church.
